TEDxSouthHowardAvenue Announces Limited Ticket Release
Tampa, Florida, United States, 26th Jan 2023 – Tampa-based consulting firm Strategos Group is proud to showcase the global impact the future of Tampa will have through the upcoming TEDxSouth Howard Avenue event, set to take place on February 24th, 2023 at Hyde House Public Studio.
The event is hosted and moderated by Adam Giery, Managing Partner of Strategos Group. The speakers selected highlight local stories and nationally recognized leaders to inspire the Tampa community. The event is limited to 100 attendees.
The event is entirely organized by Tampa residents and includes local speakers, food, and volunteers. Notably, Hyde House Public Studios, and Cru Cellars have donated space, talent, and resources to make this event possible. Giery established a goal of using local talent and business throughout the planning process. To create a holistic event experience, TEDx South Howard Avenue partnered with blockchain and digital contract providers GUTS ticket to provide a distinctive event experience with a customized NFT ticket. “We aspired to infuse the experience of new technology into the foundations of our event. It is not enough to merely learn about these emerging assets; we sought to embed them into our event DNA,” Giery stated.
As a completely philanthropic event, TEDx South Howard Avenue is seeking contributions of $100 for NFT tickets. To achieve the maximum parity in attendance, ticket holders unable to afford the suggested price will be accommodated by contacting the event organizer.
Adam Giery, wanted to bring TEDx to Tampa after realizing the value of meaningful conversation and interpersonal engagement. “I feel a need to motivate Tampa, the city I call home. When I think back on my experiences with COVID, I am struck by two distinct feelings: a greater love of interpersonal relationships and a desire to have profound conversations. This is how I found TEDx,” said Giery.
TEDx is a collection of regional, independently run events to bring people together to have a “TED-like” experience. In a small group setting, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine at a TEDx event to foster in-depth conversation and connection. These regional, independently run programs are referred to as TEDx events.
