Clear Cut Hero, a new sports drink brand, announces its launch with over 150 college athletes across the United States. The beverage startup aims to change sports hydration through its unique electrolyte formula and new flavors.
Founded by Joey Nickell, a former large beverage brands executive, Clear Cut Hero provides essential electrolytes and hydration. With just 25 calories and 5 grams of sugar per 16oz bottle, the drink fuels athletes’ performance while celebrating their journeys.
Nickell launched Clear Cut Hero through his company Clear Cut Brands. He leads a driven team rapidly bringing the innovative new brand to key retailers. “Every athlete has the potential to inspire as a hometown hero. By hydrating local athletes, we empower them to excel in sports and uplift their communities,” said Nickell. “It’s been incredible to see the positive response from NCAA universities since our launch.”
Clear Cut Hero’s six flavors – Apex, Nova, Nexus, Dragon, Eclipse and Cosmic – aim deliver electrolytes with a bold, smooth taste. The brand has focused its initial launch on forging partnerships with college athletes nationwide. Over 150 athletes across the country have already adopted Clear Cut Hero as their sports drink.
Nickell’s alma mater was one of the first university partners. Recently, Clear Cut Hero is expanding its national college campaign through new partnerships. The collaboration will drive awareness of Clear Cut Hero on campuses coast-to-coast. Athletes have also received samples and shown enthusiastic support. This grassroots adoption by respected athletes has fueled strong word-of-mouth promotion.
