The Innovation and Digital Development Agency (IDDA) has officially launched the updated “myGov” platform, marking a significant advancement in digital services. The new platform is designed to provide citizens with a more intuitive and streamlined interface for accessing essential government services, managing personal data, and handling important life events, all while minimizing bureaucratic hurdles.
Among the key features is the ability to simplify major processes such as obtaining marriage documents, registering newborn children, and handling death certificates. Couples can now schedule wedding dates online, new parents can apply for legal documents without visiting government offices, and families can process death certificates more efficiently, with the required information automatically forwarded to the appropriate authorities.
The platform offers over 40 types of personal data, including identity cards, passports, and driving licenses, displayed in an easy-to-navigate format. Digital versions of key documents such as birth certificates, marriage certificates, and death certificates are now available, carrying the same legal validity as their physical counterparts. Users can securely share these documents via QR codes or download them in PDF format.
New features like the “Pension Calculator” allow citizens to calculate pension eligibility in real-time, while the “Electric Charging Stations” service helps users locate EV charging points across the country. The platform also enhances transparency by allowing citizens to track when and where their personal information has been shared, and the improved search function makes navigating services easier for all users.
The revamped “myGov” platform underscores IDDA’s commitment to building a modern, efficient, and citizen-centric digital ecosystem, offering a wide range of services designed to improve the quality of life through enhanced convenience, security, and accessibility.
