ElevateRA Announces New Program, The Elevate Scheme of Work to Support Mental Health for Young Girls in Schools

The Elevate Scheme of Work, a specialized curriculum designed by educator and author Ramita Anand, is set to transform how schools approach student mental health and wellbeing. Tailored for girls aged 8-11, this innovative program integrates seamlessly into existing school curricula, equipping students with essential life skills that will serve them both in and beyond the classroom.

As young girls face an increasingly complex and fast-paced world, The Elevate Scheme of Work empowers them with tools and mindsets critical for personal growth and resilience. “Elevate is built to support girls through a period of profound growth and change,” said Ramita Anand, founder of ElevateRA. “With this program, we are giving students the skills to face life’s challenges with confidence, empathy, and resilience.”

The Elevate Scheme is designed to work in conjunction with conventional educational approaches, making it simple for schools to implement. With ready-made lesson plans and optional staff training, the program provides schools with the resources necessary to deliver a robust life skills curriculum, focused on what Elevate calls the 5 Superpowers: Confidence, Empathy, Kindness, Emotional Intelligence, and Resilience.

Teachers benefit from 25 pre-designed lesson plans, each deliverable within just 30 minutes per week, allowing schools to seamlessly incorporate these important life lessons into their existing schedule. Additionally, Elevate offers optional staff training, expert-led talks for students and parents, and one-on-one mentorship for students requiring individualized support. “This program is all-encompassing,” explained Anand. “It’s designed not only for students but for the entire school community, with resources and support for teachers, parents, and mentors to build a collaborative, wellbeing-focused environment.”

The Elevate Scheme of Work specifically targets the unique challenges girls face in their journey toward adulthood, addressing five key areas: confidence, empathy, kindness, emotional intelligence, and resilience. The goal of the program is to help girls understand and cultivate their strengths, encourage perspective-taking, inclusivity, and diversity, foster a deeper understanding of others, demonstrate the value of kindness and bravery in everyday actions, teach girls to identify and express their emotions effectively and develop the mindset needed to face obstacles.

Through this program, ElevateRA prepares students not only for academic success but for real-world scenarios, empowering them to become confident, adaptable, and resilient individuals.
