VF Developments Completes Renovation

The apartment community features four newly renovated rental homes with three-bedroom floorplans. VF Developments LLC, led by Victoria Vu, restored these homes to their original 1960s style while adding modern upgrades. Ms. Vu, managing partner of VF Developments, LLC, is a fashion designer turned real estate developer. She specializes in distressed multifamily apartments in Los Angeles and Orange County. She graduated from The Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising.
Ms. Vu said, “Restoring a 60-year-old apartment community was a true pleasure. These luxury homes feature keyless entry doors leading into spacious three-bedroom floorplans. Bold designer touches include white stone quartz countertops, high-end stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, and in-unit washer and dryers. Our bathrooms are fully renovated with spa-inspired designs.
Pebble floors complement the oversized tubs, glass shower doors, and gold hardware. These units are separately metered and have eight on-site parking spaces. The property is centrally located near Downtown Los Angeles, the University of Southern California, and offers everything Los Angeles provides.”
Renovation Team And Contractors
James L. Kemple, a U.S. military veteran and owner of Patriot Painting & Construction, Inc., completed the exterior and interior renovations. He said, “Working with VF Developments was exceptional. We legally reconfigured the original two-bedroom floorplans into three-bedroom, one-bath layouts, similar to our project at 920 Everett Street in Chinatown. This maximizes space and helps address the housing shortage.
The renovation team included only local minority vendors, employees, and contractors. This was the same team we used at 920 Everett Street. We take pride in creating jobs in USC and DTLA areas, improving the community, and providing affordable housing.”
Located minutes from the University of Southern California, “The Grove” sits in University Park, one of Los Angeles’ most historic and vibrant neighborhoods. It is near the 10, 110, and 60 Freeways.
