The New Media Film Festival® is set to feature the L.A. premiere of a poignant documentary titled “Rhino Man,” which will premiere on June 5th, 2024. This film highlights the valiant efforts of field rangers in South Africa who are at the forefront of protecting rhinos from poaching and extinction. The premiere is notable for its royal introduction by Prince William of Wales and has received commendation from Dr. Jane Goodall for its portrayal of the rangers’ dedication and bravery. “I Am What You Imagine” is a short film directed by SAG winner Matthew Modine, known for his extensive acting career and now his directorial ventures. The film is an experimental piece that delves into the realms of the unexplainable through a blend of sound, music, and expressionistic imagery. It features the voice talents of Ruby Modine and Leon Vitali, in what is noted as Vitali’s final performance.
