Agibot Wins Fulin Precision Order Valued at Tens of Millions RMB – Marking a Breakthrough in Scaled Deployment of Industrial Embodied AI

Shanghai, China, 17th Oct 2025 — Zhiyuan Innovation (Shanghai) Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Agibot) has signed a major project cooperation agreement with Fulin Precision Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Fulin Precision), valued at tens of millions of RMB. Nearly one hundred of Agibot’s Expedition A2-W robots will be deployed across Fulin Precision’s factories. This milestone marks the first large-scale commercial contract for embodied robots in China’s industrial sector. It is also the world’s first large-scale deployment of such robots in smart manufacturing. As a result, industrial embodied AI has officially moved from the technical validation stage into a new era of scalable commercialization.

Expedition A2-W Robots Deployment

In July 2025, the first batch of Expedition A2-W robots successfully completed a live demonstration of routine industrial operations. Specifically, the test took place in a material feeding scenario on Fulin Precision’s production line. Each robot successfully handled 1,000 turnover boxes per shift, fully meeting the production demand for a single line that month.

Furthermore, this deployment of nearly one hundred units represents a major upgrade. It transitions from a “single-factory pilot verification” to “multi-factory, full-line coverage.” In other words, the robots now perform box depalletizing and material feeding across multiple production areas.

Moreover, their operational scope has expanded from two initial points to fifteen feeding points across two workshops — the powertrain and reducer workshops. They now handle raw material delivery for a daily production capacity of over 500 units. In addition, they retrieve empty boxes automatically, completing nearly ten thousand box-moving actions per shift. Consequently, these robots have become the main transport force connecting the production processes of both workshops. The Agibot Expedition A2-W wheeled general-purpose robot is built for flexible, intelligent manufacturing and can perform various tasks, including turnover box depalletizing, palletizing, transportation, and loading/unloading.

Embodied Robot-AMR Integration

A breakthrough innovation in this project lies in the deep collaboration between “Embodied Robot + AMR.” In this system, the embodied A2-W robot handles the picking and placing of turnover boxes from multi-layer racks. Meanwhile, the AMR is responsible for transporting heavy, full-pallet materials within the workshop.

By leveraging the production system’s intelligent task dispatch and dynamic material call mechanisms, the AMR delivers materials from the picking area to the line-side feeding points. Simultaneously, the A2-W robot automatically identifies boxes, adjusts its posture, completes depalletizing, and retrieves empty boxes. As a result, this process enables a fully automated workflow — from material outbound to production line feeding and empty box circulation.

Overall, this combined system maximizes efficiency. It leverages the embodied robot’s adaptability and operational flexibility while using the AMR’s long-distance, high-load transport capabilities. Consequently, it resolves the limitations of traditional automation equipment, which often struggle with multi-workshop and multi-category scenarios. Together, they provide a reusable and scalable collaborative solution for manufacturing environments involving turnover box handling and material transport.

Technological and Operational Advances

The large-scale use of the Expedition A2-W is supported by three major technological breakthroughs:

  • Multi-modal Perception System: Provides real-time recognition of moving obstacles like personnel, equipment, and materials, ensuring safety in collaborative environments.
  • Dual-arm Coordination & Precision Manipulation: Allows flexible adaptation to containers of various sizes and weights.
  • Autonomous Error-Correction Algorithm: Enables the robot to recover workflow automatically during unexpected anomalies, without human help.

According to Deng Yang, Director of the Engineering Department at Fulin Precision, “The Expedition A2-W has exceeded expectations on the production line. It adjusts its grasping posture for irregularly stacked boxes, avoids obstacles in real time, and has achieved zero failures in nearly ten thousand operations per shift.”

He added that its anti-interference and error-correction performance are far superior to traditional automation systems. More importantly, these robots take over repetitive and physically demanding tasks, reducing strain-related injuries among workers. Therefore, employees can now focus on higher-value operations.

As more units are introduced, industrial embodied intelligence is expected to reshape manufacturing workflows. This shift marks a new phase of smart transformation. Additionally, this collaboration represents a major step toward large-scale commercialization and strengthens the ecological partnership between Agibot and Fulin Precision.
