Bangladesh, 7th Nov 2024 – Irish citizens traveling to Canada for tourism, business, transit, or medical purposes need a Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA), introduced in 2016 as a visa waiver for short stays. Valid for five years or until the passport expires, the eTA allows multiple entries with a maximum six-month stay per visit. Irish citizens must apply online, providing a valid biometric passport, email address for confirmation, and a payment method for the eTA fee.
CANADA VISA FOR IRELAND CITIZENS
Irish citizens can apply for an eTA via an online application process. In 2016, the Canadian government introduced the eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization), an online multi-entry visa waiver system allowing eligible persons to travel to Canada for up to six months. To streamline the procedure for obtaining a visa waiver, Canada launched the Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization, often known as the Canadian eTA or Canadian Tourist Visa Waiver. Irish citizens must apply for a Canada eTA visa to enter Canada for travel, business, transit, or medical reasons. All Irish passport holders must possess either a Canadian visa or a visa waiver to legally enter Canada. Irish citizens may utilize the same authorized eTA to enter Canada without a visa for 5 years or until their passport expires. The Canadian eTA from Ireland can only be applied for online to obtain an electronic visa waiver electronically linked to that of the traveler passport, eliminating the need to apply for a visa in person at an embassy or consulate.

CANADA VISA FOR LUXEMBOURG CITIZENS
In 2015, the Canadian government introduced eTA, a novel screening mechanism that allows travelers to obtain travel authorization without contacting an embassy or consulate. Citizens from over 50 countries, including Luxembourg, may apply for the eTA Canada for visits lasting up to 90 days without requiring a visa. Residents of Luxembourg who are visiting Canada for tourism, business, medical reasons, or as a stopover to another international location can apply for an eTA Canada. The Canadian eTA is intended for travelers who aim to visit Canada for a duration of under six months. Since the travel authorization is valid for 5 years, visitors can enter multiple times within this duration as long as each stay is under 3 months. Citizens of Luxembourg who are traveling or moving to Canada for work, study, or residency must obtain a Canada visa while in Luxembourg. There are various kinds of Canadian visas, including the visitor visa and the work permit. Luxembourgers who meet all eTA Canada requirements can begin the application process. The Canadian eTA application form can be found on the home page of the Canada Online Visa website.

CANADA VISA FOR MALTA CITIZENS
Malta’s citizens, like all other citizens of the European Union, do not need a visa to enter Canada. All they need to do is apply for a Canadian ETA. An ETA is a digital travel authorization that allows citizens of certain nations to travel to Canada without obtaining a consulate visa. In 2015, Canada launched the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system, allowing eligible persons to enter the nation by filling out a simple online form prior to their journey. Maltese citizens need to apply for a Canadian eTA visa to travel to Canada for short-term purposes like tourism, business, transit, or medical appointments. With your Canadian ETA, you can stay for 180 days on each entry. This document becomes invalid 5 years from its issuance or when the passport expires. If you are from Malta and apply for an ETA, you will be granted multiple entry. In other words, you can visit this country many times within five years. Once accepted, the eTA is electronically connected to the traveler’s passport. Travellers who want to visit Canada for other reasons, such as studying or working, can contact the nearest Canada Embassy or Consulate for more information. The full application process can be completed in 20 minutes.
CANADIAN ETA REQUIREMENTS FOR MALTA CITIZENS

- E-mail address – provide a valid e-mail address because you’ll receive your ETA via e-mail inbox. Print it out, just in case.

CANADA VISA FOR ESTONIAN CITIZENS
If you are an Estonian citizen planning to make a short trip to Canada for tourism, visiting family, business purposes, attending a conference, obtaining medical treatment, or transiting, you can apply for a Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization, or eTA. In 2015, the Canada eTA was launched in 60 countries. The aim of the new approach is to improve the effectiveness of handling international arrivals in the nation. Travelers will have an improved experience because of shorter border queues. The information is linked to the individual’s passport number and is stored electronically in Canada’s immigration records. The Canadian eTA remains valid for 5 years and allows for up to 90 days of extra entries. To prolong your time in Canada, you need to submit a new eTA application at least 30 days early. Most requests are processed in just a few minutes. However, travelers are advised to apply for the eTA at least 72 hours before departure in case of delays or requests for additional information.
