European Luxury Market Research Releases 2026 Outlook as Poland Emerges as a Key Luxury Growth Market
European Luxury Market Research has released its 2026 market outlook, highlighting Poland’s expanding luxury goods market, strong economic fundamentals, and increasing relevance for European luxury companies planning regional expansion.
Poland Emerges as Key Luxury Market
European Luxury Market Research today released its 2026 Luxury Market Outlook, highlighting Poland as one of Europe’s most resilient and strategically important luxury markets heading into 2026.

Poland’s position in the European luxury landscape has strengthened steadily in recent years. The country is now among the 20 largest economies globally, surpassing $1 trillion in GDP, and continues to grow faster than many Western European markets. This economic scale increasingly reflects in domestic consumption of premium and luxury goods.
The report notes that Poland’s luxury market growth is primarily driven by local consumers rather than tourism or short-term spending spikes. Rising incomes, a large professional middle class, and a growing high-net-worth segment have supported demand across watches, fashion, premium automotive, and high-end services.
Poland’s Stable Luxury Growth
Global conditions over the past year have prompted luxury companies to reconsider how and where they expand. Shifts in trade policy, changing tariffs, and supply-chain disruptions revealed vulnerabilities in traditionally “safe” markets. Consequently, many brands now focus on markets with economic depth and strong internal demand rather than relying on a few global hubs.
Ralph Collins, a Polish-born entrepreneur running a Swiss luxury watch brand across Europe, the Middle East, and the UK, emphasized Poland’s fundamentals.
“Poland’s strength lies in its economic development over the past decades,” Collins said. “You have consistent GDP growth, rising wages, low unemployment, and a consumer base that grows more affluent each year. Luxury demand is building gradually and organically, not through speculation or short-term spikes.”
Luxury Market Momentum in Central Europe
Collins added that Poland’s position has fundamentally changed in recent years. “Poland is no longer an emerging economy. It has shown steady growth and resilience even amid conflicts on its eastern border. That track record matters. Once the region stabilizes, the economy is well positioned to accelerate further. Today’s opportunity is based on results, data, and performance, not theoretical potential.”
The outlook also highlights Poland’s strengthening role within Central and Eastern Europe, supported by continued large-scale infrastructure investment. A key example is the development of the Central Communication Port (CPK), a new international airport project designed to significantly expand Poland’s aviation capacity and position the country as a major air transport hub for the region. Analysts note that improved global connectivity, increased passenger flows, and enhanced cargo capacity are expected to support business activity, tourism, and foreign investment over the medium and long term.
European Luxury Market Research adds that, together with Poland’s economic scale and sustained growth, projects such as CPK reinforce the country’s shift away from `post soviet` perception. Instead, Poland is increasingly treated as a core European market whose infrastructure ambition, long-term fundamentals, and regional relevance make it difficult for luxury brands to overlook when planning beyond 2025 and into 2026.
