Franklin Eugene – Breaking the social stigma about velvet clothing for men

There was a time when men were held back from wearing velvet due to some stigma, and mainly women made a velvet dresses as part of their wardrobe collection. It was considered for women-only clothing like other fabrics, including silk, lace, and chiffon. Over the years, many efforts have been made to revive men’s fashion and turn their attention to this high-fashion fabric for their suits, jackets, trousers, and accessories. However, velvet has been seen many times down the road under huge fashion labels to change the perspective on men wearing velvet as part of their clothing. So, when speaking of the revival of men’s clothing and making velvet a wardrobe stable for men, Franklin Eugene is one such example of a renaissance man who has reinvented and reshaped men’s clothing through his distinctive approach.

Franklin Eugene International LLC is his inventive organization which has made a name of its own in the fashion industry since its inception. The founder of the company Franklin Eugene has an extensive experience in multiple fields other than his passion for encouraging men’s fashion. Over the course of his career, Mr. Eugene has been a recipient of several awards in various industries. His approach to using velvet as a menswear signature was put into action for his fall/winter 2017/2018 collection called Fearless Finesse.

The Milan Fashion Week presentation was bursting with colorful and comforting clothing that encouraged menswear while holding onto the true masculine cuts and cleans, symbolizing the Franklin Eugene brand for fans from every corner of the world. It was more like a menswear homage to velvet on an international level. Mr. Eugene as a designer has evolved over the years, and his collection has stood out from the crowd when it comes to men’s fashion.

Letting the design speak for itself:

It goes without saying that a design has to speak for itself to stand out from the multitude. In today’s world, technology has advanced so much that exposure to a broad range of fashion categories from different parts of the world has become easier than ever. Designers, too, are impressively versed in the art of branding across various forms of media. Designing a product with a message and story is an essential part of making the product stand out and letting its design speak for itself. At the 2017/2018 Milan Men’s Fashion Week, Mr. Eugene let the designs of his latest collection speak for themselves, as the overall collection was as smooth as velvet. The designs also reflected the efforts and unwavering passion which were put into each stitch, style, affectation, and design detail.

A collection brought to life:

Bringing a fashion collection to life requires a different lens of looking at the world of fashion, especially menswear. In addition, it also takes an extensive experience in design, pattern, and color palette when working on velvet-based clothing. Although the designer’s creativity is an essential part of the overall development process, the designer’s inspiration is important to be taken into consideration before designing the entire collection. Upon the worldwide debut of the Fearless Finesse, it was clear that the collection was brought to life by Mr. Eugene through the use of subtlety, flair, and elegance to gain attention and much coveted results. He used a color palette that had its root in a rich burgundy and strong purple, and the addition of  black presented a masculine fantasy of velvet.

Making a difference through the power of giving:

Many people think that making a difference in the world is far beyond their capacity and a responsibility not to be fulfilled very easily. The easiest way to make a difference is doing it with the power of giving, which many people underestimate. The power of giving fills society with joy and appreciation. It helps build a stronger bond with people and creates a sense of community. Mr. Eugene has helped many people and is a fervent believer in giving. He encouraged the power of giving when he attended the 79th Venice Film Festival. He supports charitable organizations dedicated to making a direct and long-term difference in the lives of those experiencing hardships. As part of its corporate social duty, Franklin Eugene donated a portion of the revenues from The Tribute Collection to selected charities to assist with societal difficulties in the Middle East, North Africa, and India (CSR).
