Over time, his journey took him through religious persecution, refugee life in Malaysia, and the daunting transition to America.
Yet, in the middle of that brokenness, he discovered something greater — the unshakable presence of God. Through faith and endurance, he learned to rebuild his life with strength and purpose.
Founding Overcomers Ministry Mission
Timothy’s calling grew beyond his personal story when he founded Overcomers Ministry in Indianapolis. The mission focuses on helping the Burmese immigrant community and young people find belonging, identity, and spiritual growth.
In addition, Timothy serves at Firefly Children & Family Alliance, where his passion for social work aligns with his spiritual convictions. He calls it his “second dream job,” a place where he helps children and families thrive despite challenges. Through these roles, he continues to prove that compassion and faith can change lives.
Serving the Next Generation
Those who know Timothy describe him as a humble yet passionate servant of God. He carries a deep love for the next generation and for immigrant families starting over in a new country. After graduating from Bible College in 2018, he journeyed to the Holy Land — a turning point that strengthened his devotion to serve.
