FYE Records, in partnership with Universal Music Group (UMG), has secured a significant publishing deal. The move has attracted institutional investors such as IMC Capital Investment and SUN Capital Management Group.
In a recent interview, FYE Records CEO Kamyrn Perez stated that the new publishing deal with UMG “reflects our commitment to excellent songwriting and the professional development of artists.” Perez added that “signing this deal will empower all artists currently signed under FYE.”
FYE Records’ impressive track record of successful deals has caught the attention of various capital groups, including those focusing on international media production houses.
The hit single “Purple Dream Night,” performed by Sunnie Quing and Kam Nasty, produced by Jun5 and Official ZeZe, entered the #3 position on the Spotify Chart within its first week of release, highlighting FYE’s ability to captivate audiences.
Looking forward to 2023, FYE Records aims to expand its portfolio and investment worldwide by targeting international markets to discover and develop talented artists. According to the Vice President of FYE Records, Jun5, the label is “dedicated to investing and developing international artists who have been underrated in the past” and “always searching for the diamonds in the rough.”
