The patient’s condition was dire, with a large wound involving almost the entire foot, large areas of skin death, pus discharge, and bony instability due to partial fractures and joint dislocations. After initial treatment with antibiotics and surgical debridement, Hybrid Regenerative Therapy was employed to expedite healing.

This pioneering approach involved injecting different types of plasma prepared from the patient’s blood into the affected tendons, soft tissues, and muscles. Plasma, rich in growth factors and wound-healing proteins, stimulated tissue repair while alleviating inflammation and promoting healing.

Platelet-rich fibrin, a biomaterial derived from the patient’s blood, was applied to cover the exposed bones and tendons.
