The AI-generated scores were compared to human grades on a 4.3 Grade Point Average (GPA) scale, the standard measure used by U.S. universities (where an “A” equals 4.0 and a “B” equals 3.0).
Accurate AI-Based Assessment
The results showed that the system maintained an average difference of 0.2 grade points from teacher-assigned scores, with minimal variation (0.142 standard deviation) across repeated tests. Each report also included rubric-based scoring, written feedback, and recommendations for improvement.
