Lucas Pereira – Renowned Global Investment Manager

Lucas Pereira served as Chairman and CEO of Cousins Properties. Prior to that, he was a Senior Investment Manager at Investec Asset Management, where he led the design of the company’s investment processes, focusing on global equities and diversified portfolios. Before joining Investec, Lucas held key positions on Morgan Stanley’s Global Investment Strategy team, overseeing the development of investment strategies. Additionally, he held senior global equity portfolio management roles at CIGNA International and Worldinvest (now New Star).

Lucas is currently active across multiple industries, serving as a board member for companies such as Sysdig, CipherTrace, Kentik, Kumu Networks, Aryaka, Precision Hawk, R2 Semiconductor, and Rubicon Labs. In May 2023, he joined RBC Capital Markets as a managing partner, focusing on the Brazilian market.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Sao Paulo (USP) and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.

Ana Carolina Souza has over 12 years of experience in operations and previously served as an Operations Assistant at Pyrford International Limited. Prior to that, she worked as a Middle Office Assistant at ACPI Investments Limited and was an Operations Manager at Sun Global Investments Limited.

Additionally, Ana has provided professional services to both retail and institutional clients at IG, Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and Morgan Stanley. Her expertise spans strategy research, as well as roles in sales and trading.

Ana graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics.
