Prayer International Series: Episode 19 Prayer On The Border
The Prayer International Series, created by filmmaker Young Man Kang, explores spiritual journeys across diverse cultures. The upcoming episode, Prayer On The Border, will be filmed in the Mission/McAllen area of Texas in mid-March. Casting is open for local actors (two males, one female, ages 20-40). The series, available on YouTube, has featured global cities and received acclaim for its faith-based themes and innovative storytelling.
McAllen/Mission, Texas – The Prayer International Series, created by filmmaker Young Man Kang, is a globally inspired project that explores the dreams, challenges, and spiritual journeys of individuals across diverse cultures. Each episode immerses audiences in a new city, offering a cinematic exploration of faith and personal storytelling.
The upcoming episode, Prayer On The Border, will be filmed in the Mission/McAllen area of Texas in mid-March. This project is a co-production between YMK Films and local production company Delinquent Films. Director Young Man Kang and Writer & Co-producer Luis Antonio Rodriguez will collaborate as the co-production team for this episode.
Casting is now open for local actors: two males and one female, ages 20-40, of any race and body type. Interested actors should submit their CVs and reels to ymkfilmsvideo@gmail.com.
Since its inception, the Prayer International Series has captured the essence of numerous vibrant locations, including Istanbul, Rome, Seoul, Los Angeles, Tokyo, and more. With 18 episodes completed, the series has featured stories from cities such as Vancouver, Toronto, Lima, Cusco, Frankfurt, Hawaii, Rio de Janeiro, San Salvador, Atlanta, Wetzlar, Panama, Marseille, and Petrópolis.
Produced by YMK Films in collaboration with various local production teams, the series is notable for its faith-based themes and innovative filmmaking techniques. Utilizing iPhone technology and a vertical cinema format, Young Man Kang brings a unique storytelling approach that resonates with digital audiences. All episodes are currently available on YouTube, with plans to further expand the series. The production team is actively seeking co-producers and brand sponsors to support future episodes in new locations.
