Selection Process and Future Plans

The selection process focuses on compassion in patient care, measurable improvements in outcomes, peer recognition, mentorship, and contributions beyond daily duties. Nominations may come from colleagues, supervisors, patients, or family members who know the nominee’s work personally. Moreover, each submission is reviewed with fairness and transparency.

The nomination period for the 2026 award will open in spring, giving medical facilities enough time to participate.
