QuantLase Lab, a subsidiary of International Holdings Company (IHC) and a research and innovation laboratory in Abu Dhabi, has announced its intention to develop a developed quantum-enabled photonic technology with a focus on healthcare, cyber security, cryptography, blockchain, sustainability, renewable energy, and particularly solving hard computation tasks. Mr. Syed Basar Shueb, is the CEO and Managing Director of Abu Dhabi’s International Holding Company (IHC) and QuantLase Lab, the Research & Development arm of the Abu Dhabi Stock Exchange-listed IHC.
Optical decision-maker is designed to solve the problem of finding optimum solutions to multiparameter and multifunctional questions across multiple disciplines. This new technology will be a significant step forward, in keeping with QuantLase laboratory’s commitment to drive innovation and contribute to a sustainable future.
Established in 2020, QuantLase Lab has achieved success in a short span, innovating the diffractive phase interferometry (DPI) technique. This technology has been effectively deployed across multiple facilities in the United Arab Emirates, contributing significantly to fast COVID-19 screening during the various waves of the pandemic.
The Quantum Biophotonics lab at QuantLase is dedicated to understanding the interaction of light with biological systems. Leveraging advanced biphotonic combined with quantum technologies, the lab aims to provide solutions in diagnostics, prognostics, healthcare, and therapeutics. By developing non-invasive and cost-effective diagnostic techniques, the lab aims to contribute to early-stage diagnosis and effective treatment strategies for infectious and genetic diseases.
At the High-power Laser Division, the Femtosecond Laser facility is leveraging cutting-edge research to harness the potential of high-power ultrashort laser pulses. With a strong focus on sustainability, the division is working on projects such as water desalination, utilizing femtosecond lasers, and exploring attosecond laser pulses for ultrafast processes. The division’s dedication to environmental impact through laser technology drives innovation in water solutions and advanced applications. Moreover, we have successfully developed a Quantum Random Generator using Optical Phase diffusion and are ready to deploy it for real-life applications. So, this Photonic Entropy source is the fundamental ingredient for the decision-making system. On the Photonic Intelligence Project, Mr. Deepanshu Baisoya, Mr. Mohammed Mundazeer, Ms. Ruchi Basoya, and Mr. Sheraz Siddiqui are actively working as a dynamic team with Dr. Pramod Kumar, Director of Research & Innovation at QuantLase Lab. We will complete this Decision Maker by the next coming months or so as a proof-of-principle experiment is done at the Lab level. Then it will be ready for use to solve problems, particularly related to cognitive science.”
The Adaptive Optics Lab, with Advanced Computational facilities, is a hub for the research, development, and deployment of high-performance systems and software architectures in emerging Laser/Photonics Technology. By integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the scientific landscape, ACL aims to tackle complex challenges in laser technology, advancing the frontiers of scientific discovery and technological innovation. Mr. Sheraz Siddiqui is the CEO of AiFi Technology and is actively participating in the Photonic Intelligence project.
QuantLase Lab values accessibility, affordability, sustainability, and excellence in its pursuit of benefiting the global community. The lab’s diverse and expert research team collaborates to achieve research, innovation, and continuous improvement.
