Speed Test
On a test road with full pedaling, we were very happy during the riding process. The pedaling process was very easy and we did not feel too much resistance. According to the official weight data of 60 lbs (27 kg), this is lightweight emtb , so it does not require much extra effort to drive such an ebike, and only first gear can provide enough power.
Once PAS assist is enabled, PAS1 can cope with flat terrain well. When upgraded to PAS 2, it can fly freely on the mountains without being hindered by the terrain, and drive on flat ground. We found a flat stretch of road to test its top speed with a rider weight of about 200 lbs（91 kg）, downwind, and the final top speed showed 33 mph（53 kph).
Range Test
We did an experiment to test the Hummer’s battery life. It fully met the advertised range of 57+ miles (92+ km)in pure electric mode, reaching and sometimes exceeding the advertised 72+ miles (116+ km) in pedal mode, and there was no motor overheating during the entire ride. And the battery also covers the entire range of travel well.
Its battery design indeed exceeds our imagination of the 20AH battery. Compared with other electric bicycle we have tested, the test results of this emtb are relatively rare. In any case, this folding electric bicycle surpasses our imagination.
Safety and Brake Test
Brakes are also a very important part of ebikes, and we also conducted a test on the brakes. The Hummer uses a Shimano 160mm Disc Brake, which has a great advantage in braking distance. Compared with drum brakes, it performs better on slippery roads. I once tried riding it out to play on rainy days, and its brakes are very flexible and fast.
Lighting also has a great impact on actual driving conditions. Since the Hummer’s headlights can illuminate the road and obstacles very well, I use them with the taillights. In my riding experience, folding bikes tend to have a hard time balancing handling and comfort, but this e-bike balances it well.
