Travel Experience Safari Tours

The new vessel expands the brand’s portfolio of deep-V center consoles, continuing a tradition of performance-oriented design combined with practical comfort for both anglers and recreational boaters.

Product Line Update

North Carolina, United States, 18th Dec 2025 – Regulator Marine, a U.S.-based manufacturer of center-console boats, has announced an updated 28-foot center console model for its 2026 lineup. The company added this model to expand its range of offshore-capable vessels while continuing ongoing design improvements across its product portfolio.

Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Edenton, North Carolina, Regulator Marine designs center-console boats specifically for offshore operation. The company builds its vessels using a deep-V hull design and foam-filled construction to enhance structural integrity and maintain stability in open-water conditions. The new 28-foot model follows the same proven construction approach used throughout the Regulator lineup.

Construction And Performance

The updated 28-foot center console comes standard with twin Yamaha Offshore F350 outboard engines and offers a fuel capacity of 219 gallons. In addition, the model integrates Seakeeper Ride™ technology, which actively assists with dynamic trim control while underway. As a result, the system helps reduce pitch and roll when operating in changing sea conditions.

Moreover, Regulator Marine configured the deck layout and onboard systems to support both fishing and general recreational use. Standard features include an in-deck fishbox with integrated rod storage, insulated forward compartments for storage, and dedicated spaces for equipment and supplies. Customers can also choose optional configurations such as pressurized transom livewells, a slide-out tackle storage unit, and alternative helm seating arrangements.

Deck And Layout

Beyond fishing functionality, the center-console layout allows full deck circulation around the console area, improving onboard movement and usability. The model also features a fixed T-Top with integrated handholds, along with seating areas fitted with removable cushions. Depending on the selected configuration, freshwater systems and enclosed console space further support day cruising and longer outings.

Commenting on the announcement, Joey Jordan, President of Regulator Marine, said, “The 28-foot model reflects our continued effort to refine existing designs using operational experience and customer feedback. With this update, we remain focused on construction consistency, functional layouts, and offshore capability across our product range.”

Availability Information

The 28-foot center console will become available through authorized Regulator Marine dealers in 2026. Meanwhile, the company plans to release additional specifications and configuration options closer to the model’s market availability.
