Former LAPD Lieutenant Patricia L Blake Debuts Inspirational Childrens Book Mocha Angel Warrior True Trust Book 1 at Frankfurter Buchmesse 2025
Explora Books Ltd. proudly announces the showcase of “Mocha Angel Warrior: True Trust Book 1” by retired Los Angeles Police Department Lieutenant Patricia L. Blake at the upcoming Frankfurter Buchmesse. The book will appear at the Explora Books booth, Hall 5.1 D59, from October 15 to 19, 2025. This debut marks a major shift for Blake, moving from a 33-year law enforcement career to creating inspirational children’s literature.
Epic Tale of Courage and Faith
“Mocha Angel Warrior: True Trust Book 1” takes readers on an epic adventure with Mocha Latte, a brave warrior angel horse. When peace falls under threat, Mocha rides to protect the kingdom’s children from dark forces. The ten captivating tales explore courage, friendship, and faith in God, inspiring readers of every age.
Patricia L. Blake’s journey is as powerful as her story. She served over three decades with the LAPD, breaking barriers and earning high honors. She became one of the first two female Field Training Officers and the first female Senior Lead Officer at Rampart Division. In 1987, she earned the title of “Officer of the Year.” Her leadership expanded when she founded a Special Problems Unit to combat gangs and narcotics, earning a Meritorious Unit Citation.
Trailblazing Career and Leadership
Throughout her career, Blake held key leadership roles. She worked as an assistant watch commander and later led the Community Relations Against Street Hoodlums (CRASH) unit. At the Foothill Division, she commanded the mounted horse and rider Cavalry unit (VCCRR), building stronger ties between police and children. That experience would later inspire her creative storytelling.
“The journey from police lieutenant to children’s author shows a lifelong dedication to service,” said a representative from Explora Books Ltd. “Patricia L. Blake brings hope and resilience to life through ‘Mocha Angel Warrior,’ blending real-world strength with faith-driven imagination.”
Dedication to Service and Legacy
Blake holds a bachelor’s degree in criminology and a master’s in organizational leadership. After retiring, she continued her public service by volunteering with Lyon County Nevada Search and Rescue. Her ongoing dedication to community safety earned her recognition in Strathmore’s Who’s Who Worldwide and several other publications.
Frankfurter Buchmesse, the world’s leading book fair, offers the ideal stage for this inspiring debut. Thousands of publishing experts and culture enthusiasts from around the world will explore new stories, authors, and creative voices at the Frankfurt Trade Fair Grounds.
Global Launch and Media Access
“Mocha Angel Warrior: True Trust Book 1” is now open for discovery by international publishers, distributors, and media partners at the Explora Books Ltd. booth.
