AgiBot Robotics Shined at IROS 2025 – the AgiBot World Challenge Concluded Successfully
Shanghai, China, 4th Nov, 2025 โ Recently, the premier global academic conference in roboticsโ2025 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2025)โwas successfully held in Hangzhou. Centered around the theme โFrontiers of Human-Robot Interaction,โ this yearโs event highlighted how artificial intelligence and robotics continue to merge and evolve through innovation.
AgiBot Showcases Robotics Excellence
As a leading company in embodied intelligence, AgiBot made its first in-depth appearance at IROS. The company showcased its full-stack technological capabilities and ecosystem strength through comprehensive live demonstrations of its product portfolio and the inaugural AgiBot World Challenge. The exhibition quickly became one of the major highlights of the event.
At the exhibition hall, AgiBot presented a full lineup of productsโincluding G1, G2, X2, and A2โoffering immersive, hands-on experiences that displayed clear technological progress. Moreover, the company placed strong emphasis on real-world industrial uses of embodied robotic operational intelligence.
Notably, G1 performed fully autonomous parcel handling in logistics settings without any human assistance. It also demonstrated deep collaboration with DEMACโs Smart Shuttle Sorting Robot. The newly launched AgiBot G2, unveiled on October 16, made its first offline public debut at the event, attracting considerable attention from attendees and industry experts.
Dynamic Displays and Simulations
Among the many highlights, AgiBot X2 impressed audiences with its high-degree-of-freedom motion control, performing popular dance routines that turned it into a must-visit photo spot. Meanwhile, A2 showcased the practical importance of simulation technology, demonstrating how robotics can blend technical accuracy with creativity.

Co-hosted by AgiBot and OpenDriveLab, the โAgiBot World Challenge @ IROS 2025โ became one of the conferenceโs flagship events. The competition featured two main tracksโManipulation and World Modelโwith a total prize pool of $560,000. In addition, it attracted 431 elite teams from 23 countries and regions across five continents, including top universities and research institutions.

Global Robotics Competition Results
The Manipulation track was particularly intense. After several online simulation rounds, 11 top-tier teams from around the world advanced to the on-site physical robot finals. These were held on October 21โ22 at the IROS venue. Teams competed using AgiBotโs platform to complete a series of complex manipulation challenges. Ultimately, the winning team earned a $10,000 cash prize.
The competition not only showcased the creativity and technical mastery of young roboticists but also proved the reliability and advanced performance of the AgiBot platform. Moreover, the AgiBot World Challenge @ IROS 2025 concluded on a strong note.
In the World Model track, the top three positions went to VIPL-GENUN (Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences), HD-Robo (HiDream.ai Inc.), and SHIELD-LMD (Alibaba CloudโSHIELDโShanghai TAM). Meanwhile, in the Manipulation track, the winners were AIR-DREAM (Tsinghua University and Shanghai AI Lab), Notonlysim (South China University of Technology), and Firebot (Hong Kong University).
