KingNewswire Editorial Policy Workspace

This policy explains how King Newswire creates the guides on our blog and how we review the press releases we distribute for clients. It covers two different kinds of content, which follow different rules.

1. Our Blog and Guides

Who writes our content

Our guides are written and reviewed by the King Newswire Editorial Team and named authors, such as Memona Zafar. Each article shows its author. Our writers work with press release distribution every day, and our guides are based on that practical experience.

How we research

  • We base articles on our own experience of preparing and distributing press releases, and on public information from reliable sources.
  • When we mention another company’s prices or features, we use information published by that company and note the date where it may change.
  • We link to sources so readers can check the facts for themselves.

How we review

  • Every article is checked for accuracy, clarity and usefulness before it is published.
  • We review important guides regularly and update them when information changes.
  • We do not change an article’s date unless its content has been meaningfully updated.

Independence

King Newswire sells press release distribution. When an article compares our service with others, we say so, and we aim to describe every service fairly, including its strengths.

2. Client Press Releases

Press releases in our News Room are written and supplied by the companies that publish them, or prepared by our writers from information the client provides. They are third-party content. The publishing company is responsible for the accuracy of its release.

How we review press releases

  • Our editors review every release before distribution, usually within 24 hours.
  • We check that each release is newsworthy, written in an objective, announcement style, and includes genuine contact details.
  • We do not accept releases that break our press release guidelines, including advertising-only content, gambling, adult content, political content, defamatory claims and other restricted topics.
  • We may edit a release for formatting and clarity, or decline it without publication.
  • Releases do not contain investment advice, and we do not endorse the products or claims of the companies that publish them.

3. Corrections

If you find an error in our content, please see our Corrections Policy for how to report it.
