Soulog Inc. Enters Consumer AI Hardware With Soulog Sense, a Personal Context System

Soulog Inc. announced the launch of Soulog Sense, an ultra-thin magnetic AI Voice Recorder with a Personal Context System that brings together the conversations, images, notes, and files users choose to capture or add, keeps that material connected across sessions, and generates structured outputs from it on request.

The problem it targets is not a shortage of recordings, but the difficulty of finding and using important details later. A number mentioned in a meeting can be difficult to locate weeks afterward, while useful context may remain scattered across recordings, notes, and files. Soulog Sense is designed to address that gap by keeping related information connected rather than treating each session as a standalone file.

Nothing to Open, Nothing to Remember

That process starts with capture happening on the hardware itself:

• One-flip record: Once the device has been activated in the Soulog App, users can flip the Recording Switch up to start recording and down to stop without opening the app.
• One-click highlight: Click the Multifunction button during recording to mark an important moment and return to that timestamp later.
• 30-Minute Live Rewind: Some conversations become important only after they have already started. When Live Rewind is enabled, press and hold the Multifunction button for two seconds to save up to the previous 30 minutes of audio and continue recording in the same file. The feature is off by default and must first be enabled in the Soulog APP. Users are responsible for complying with applicable recording and consent laws.

Beyond audio, users can add photos, notes, files, and other supported content to the same workflow. Soulog’s multi-format capabilities can help keep information from different formats connected with the relevant context.

Soulog supports unlimited transcription across more than 120 languages, with Vocabulary Management and flexible output languages. Unlimited Transcription is available to Free plan users, with no upgrade required for continued transcription. Select premium features, including 30-Minute Live Rewind and Speaker Recognition, are available through the 7-day Pro trial.

Voiceprint Settings can identify and label registered speakers across recordings, supporting one primary user and up to nine additional voice profiles. Voiceprint Settings are encrypted and user-controlled, and users are responsible for obtaining any consent required before registering another person’s voice.

After a session, Soulog APP can turn captured content into structured summaries covering key points, action items, owners, and open questions, with different templates available based on the user’s needs.

With a body thickness of 0.124 inch (3.15 mm) and a weight of 46 g (1.62 oz), Soulog Sense attaches magnetically to compatible phones and cases and charges over USB-C. Its independent battery supports over 50 hours of continuous recording on a full charge. Two MEMS microphones and a VPU support voice pickup at up to five meters, with AI noise reduction designed to reduce ambient noise.

The Memory Underneath

Captured information becomes more useful when related context stays connected over time. The Personal Context System brings recordings, notes, files, and other captured content together around a shared topic, making it easier to review information, ask questions, and analyze context across multiple sessions.

Ending With a File, Not a Paragraph

Connected context can also be turned into structured outputs such as reports, presentations, documents, and other supported formats. Rather than working from a single summary, Soulog can draw on related captured context across multiple sessions or an ongoing project. Through MCP, compatible AI agents on a computer can also access available Soulog context to draft follow-ups, refine proposals, and prepare next steps. 

Outputs can then be exported or moved into supported workflows for continued use.

Cloud sync is off by default and only begins when the user enables it. Recordings, voice data, and registered voice profiles are encrypted, and users can manage or delete their information at any time. Soulog says audio is processed only to provide requested features, and customer data is not used to train AI models or sold.
