DealGround Launches Claude Connector and Expanded Browser Extension to Support Off-Market Commercial Real Estate Deal Sourcing
DealGround, an AI-powered commercial real estate (CRE) intelligence platform, today announced a Claude connector and an expanded browser extension that bring its property and ownership data into the tools brokers already use. With the connector, brokers can access their DealGround accounts directly through Claude. The updated browser extension lets brokers move from an address on another site, such as Google Maps, into DealGround to run ownership research.

According to co-founder and CEO Dan Mosher, the release reflects the company’s goal of making its data available outside its own platform.
“We want DealGround to be everywhere. We want to be wherever our users are, which is sometimes they’re in Teams, sometimes they’re on Google Chrome. Sometimes they’re in email. Sometimes they’re in text message. Sometimes they’re in Claude,” said Mosher. “We want to bring the data from DealGround to them, wherever they are.”
Claude Connector and Browser Extension Capabilities
Through the Claude connector, brokers who use Claude can reach their DealGround account without leaving Claude. This puts DealGround’s private property and ownership data inside the AI tool, so brokers are not limited to the public web data that general-purpose AI tools draw from.
The browser extension adds two functions. When a broker views an offering memorandum online, the extension prompts them to add it to their DealGround account. When a broker views an address on another site, such as Google Maps, the extension offers to open that property in DealGround. From there the broker can run ownership research and add the property to a list.
AI Expands Off-Market Property Search Criteria
Mosher said the most immediate value of AI in off-market sourcing is its ability to handle search criteria that traditional platforms were not built to process.
“AI can help bring to bear parameters that are hard to get in a typical map-based interface that so many of the CRE platforms use today,” said Mosher.
DealGround customers are already building AI queries that go beyond standard filters, such as searching for multi-tenant retail properties in rural areas.
“That’s not really a parameter you can set,” said Mosher. “If I want to find multi-tenant properties in rural areas in Texas, I can’t go into a service and say, don’t show me Dallas, don’t show me Houston, don’t show me Austin. But I can in AI do that, and it’ll only show me properties that are in areas that have populations below a certain level.”
Ownership type is another example. Buyers often care about who owns a property, but few platforms offer it as a search option.
“Maybe I’m looking for industrial deals and I say, show me industrial properties that are owned by mom and pop or family office owners. I don’t want to see institutional owners,” said Mosher. “That’s another thing that can’t be done necessarily in a filter or search, but it can be done using AI to then come back to you with a set of properties that fit a very specific criteria, nuanced criteria that requires multiple levels of distillation before you can get to that.”
General-Purpose AI Tools Lack Private CRE Data
Mosher said the main limitation of AI in CRE is not the technology itself, but the data it can reach.
“I think what’s overhyped is that AI doesn’t have access to the wealth of information that’s in a private CRE database. A lot of the AI systems are still tuned to the internet,” said Mosher. “People that are using Claude or ChatGPT to do generic searches, they’re not necessarily seeing private and important data that’s going to be critical.”
General AI tools work from public web data, while off-market conversations depend on ownership records, lease details, and transaction history. DealGround’s platform covers 160M+ properties and connects property intelligence with ownership research in one system. More information on how DealGround works is available on the company’s website.
