The Opole law office of attorney Izabela Lakomiak has launched a new bilingual website in Polish and English, offering free legal calculators, articles citing Polish legislation, and information on Swiss franc loans following Poland’s 2026 CHF Act.
The law office of attorney (adwokat) Izabela Lakomiak in Opole has launched a new website, kancelarialakomiak.pl. The site is available in Polish and English and offers free legal calculators as well as articles explaining selected issues in Polish criminal, family, civil and business law.
Legal information in two languages
The new website describes the legal services the office provides in criminal, family, civil and business matters, as well as in disputes over Swiss franc (CHF) mortgage loans. All core content has an English counterpart. The English version is intended for foreigners living and working in Poland, and for individuals and companies from abroad dealing with Polish courts and authorities. Consultations take place at the office in Opole or online, including in English English-speaking lawyer in Poland.
“More and more people from abroad live and work in the Opole region. I want them to be able to understand their legal situation and how the procedure works in a language they speak comfortably. The new website is also meant to help every client prepare for our first meeting,” says attorney Izabela Lakomiak.
Free calculators and articles citing Polish legislation
The website includes free calculators, among them tools for statutory interest and court fees legal calculators, available to private individuals and businesses alike. The office’s blog publishes articles that refer to specific provisions of Polish law, including the Criminal Code, the Code of Criminal Procedure, the Family and Guardianship Code and the Civil Code. English-language articles cover, among other topics, the rights of foreigners arrested in Poland and divorce proceedings involving foreign nationals.
Swiss franc loans after the 2026 changes
A separate section covers loans linked to the Swiss franc. It explains, among other things, the Act of 29 May 2026 (Journal of Laws 2026, item 985). Since 7 August 2026, the Act has suspended by law the borrower’s obligation to pay instalments once the bank has been served with the claim.
